Low clearance bridges and structures are struck by vehicles resulting in damage to infrastructure, disruption to the road network, and delays to rail services when railway bridges are impacted. Bridge strikes have unfortunately resulted in serious injury and fatalities involving vehicle drivers, passengers, and other road users.
This dataset contains information about the locations and signed clearance heights of low clearance railway bridges and structures owned by Queensland Rail.
The geographic extent of this dataset is determined by the Queensland Rail network and includes locations both within and beyond the Brisbane City Council local government area.
